Once again, a Spectacular Carnival in Puerto Del Carmen. The popular parade was held along The Avenida de las Playas on Saturday. All the hard work, time and effort put in to the costumes and floats by the residents of the small villages and towns of Lanzarote, certainly made it a day to remember. Thousands of spectators decided to participate too by joining in the joyful atmosphere and dressing up as their favourite characters. Many also continued on into the harbour of the old town to party the night away once the over 2 hour long parade was over.

This is certainly an event not to be missed next year if you are on the island at the time.
